how do they do it? [learning]
i don't know how a film crew can hold up doing long shoots for days. i am really tired today after doing a miniscule shoot. the crew was me and a friend. i did camera work and direction, my friend did sound and assistant direction. for my film class i did a shoot in the morning with one set of the cast and a shoot in the afternoon with another set of the cast. i didn't have any lighting gear so some scenes may be a bit dark. i want to shoot everything first and not waste time trying to get perfection. i just need footage to do a rough cut. then i can go back and shoot some pickup shots to fill it out and re-shoot the worst takes.
