hong kong garden [ingesting]
i never ate at charlie hong kong because it looks like a dive from the outside. the name isn't a turn on either. but i've heard rave reviews so i finally gave it a try. the food is healthy and cheap but i couldn't find anything on the menu that interested me. (too many items with prawns and sprouts.) i ordered a green curry chicken bowl, hold the sprouts. my friend's order had sprouts and i realized i wouldn't mind those kind. i was picturing the crap that all santa cruz places put in sandwiches. i hate those sprouts, tastes like shit. the food was ok, kind of plain. i can't find any reason to go again. overall, it's just not my thing at all.
