don't get me started on why unions at my work suck. (essentially for the rest of the world unions can be a beautiful thing. but for where i work almost everything is public knowledge so if you have the power to know ahead of time what you're getting into, why did you sign up? enough of that!) anyway, thanks to union bitch wars, some of us on the lowest rungs of the chain got a little extra something. as it is, $ doesn't go very far in this town. it's one of those "you're lucky if you still have anything after you pay rent/utilities" towns. now i know this is not really a concern for those that make mega bucks but if you only have micro bucks then you could get fucked. so this little extra made me happy. now i won't be eating soup and crackers for the rest of the month. i still have to sell some cds, etc. on ebay to pay bills but that's something i just need to do anyway to get back some fucking space in my room. </too-much-info>
