lately work abroad programs are very appealing. i long for a vacation. it has been years since i have had my passport stamped. the overall cost doesn't seem too bad but the plane fare to australia is going to be hell on my wallet. it will take a lot of discipline to save up for such a trip. i already have a basic itinerary in mind because it helps to pass the time. i have always wanted to travel all over the world and see as much as possible, but the older i get the less this seems possible. so to keep me from despair about never leaving my current residence, i think of things i would like to do in australia. i know that when i get off the plane, "australia" by the manic street preachers will be playing in the soundtrack of my mind
