hi-tech highway [geeking]

the electronic signs above the freeways that usually warn of traffic and road construction had a different message. they informed drivers of a kidnapping and described the kidnapper's vehicle, including the license plate. i was in awe of the newly recognized power of these signs. i drove about 70 miles south and the signs displayed the same message. with all the cell phones out there, it is highly probable that today's criminals won't get very far when they try to run for it in cars. the next step? private planes.
