last night the two of the remaining glass catfish were swimming alright, amazing that the one fucker was still alive with all his injuries. i noticed the other one was also now injured, part of his tail was missing but it was minor. then i noticed that his head was hurt. it didn't look like he was bit but he had blood in the back, quite strange and sad. it wasn't long before he died. i was shocked it was so quick and that the badly hurt glass catfish was still alive. later in the night he started to droop and would let himself sink to the bottom. i thought he died several times. i would tap the glass etc and he would wake up and start swimming again. i did this several times because i just didn't want him to die. he had been fighting to stay alive so long that i thought i'd help him survive just a little more. but it was really late and i couldn't stay awake anymore so i went to bed knowing he would be dead next time i saw him. this ardeth is mean. he's an executioner.

now the only fish left is the chinese algae eater and he might die from starvation because he does such a good job eating algae that it can't grow back in time to sustain fish life. this has happened before. i've tried other foods but they don't even taste test it.
