A mix of punk rock fury, ska horns blazing, wrathful drums, and charming keyboards with rotating vocals. The members include Mahuiztecatl Garcia (percussion; flute; vocals), Luis Güereña (percussion; vocals), Cecilia Bastida (keyboards; vocals), Jorge Jimenez (guitar), Jorge Velaquez (bass), and Alex Zuñiga (drums). Besides the albums below they have a live album and have appeared on such compilations as de La Raza... ...pa' La Raza. Tijuana No went through some turbulent times, during one period Cecilia left the band but returned, and finally disbanded in 2003.

The Calaveras were saddened to learn of the death of Luis in 2004. Condolences to all. We had met him once quite unexpectedly at a Jane's Addiction show in Los Angeles in 1997. Of course, we were the only ones that recognized him. He was always very approachable and true to his punk roots.

Live Factor: Not always the wisest choice of songs to perform, however they did get the crowd moving. We were always impressed with the speed and ferocity of the drumming. The group brought their politics to the stage and would openly criticize governments. The members never let anything get to their head and were your buddies before and after shows. The Calaveras salute you!
