When I first wrote about Buck-Tick on the web in 1995, I'm pretty sure it was the first site devoted to them. As the years have pressed on, they have built their own official one in Japanese. There have been many other fan sites erected in various languages. It greatly pleases me to see that their fanbase is global. It inspires me to continue to work on this website. Long live Buck-Tick's music!
The majority of images/information/etc. presented on this site are from my own personal collection and many nights of coding 'til the sun rises. Images of stuff I do not own were often taken from internet auctions and thus are lower in quality. The information sources are largely from both (un)official Buck-Tick books, web sites, and magazine/tv interviews.
Re: translations
All the translations were done by myself with the aid of dictionaries and my mother (native speaker) when needed, which is quite often! What are our credentials? None, so don't trust us, hahahhaa. My mother and I often disagree on translations and she does not readily want to help me with words I don't know once she realizes I'm asking about Buck-Tick lyrics--she doesn't think their music makes any sense. Japanese is a very context sensitive language and the use of pronouns in sentences is not required. This can make translations of small snippets, such as song titles, difficult by themselves. Naturally, reading the lyrics or related interviews assists with the intended meaning but it's mendokusai and I'm lazy.

Instead of blabbing on about my love of B-T, I will try to do something very hard. I will hold a personal Buck-Tick _____ ranking competition whereby I judge each _____ in a tournament style to determine the ultimate winner! If you like, you may also conduct your own tournament by downloading the pdfs: single challenge, album challenge, book challenge, solo/side project challenge, music video challenge.
For a song challenge, since they have released so many I would recommend using the album challenge sheet and picking your top 3 songs from each album (or something like that) and have them battle each other. The songs winner need not be from the same album as that would be the same as the album challenge. (You'll have to thrown in somewhere the A-sides and B-sides that are not on albums.) It is in that way which I organized the music video challenge, that it is 5 videos at a time. Then once you get down to the final few, you can judge them individually.
What do these tournament challenge sheets look like? See below.
Single: Kyokutou Yori Ai Wo Komete
Album: Seventh Heaven (this was my favorite album for at least the first decade that I liked B-T)
Song: Physical Neurose (this was my favorite song for the first year that I liked B-T, then it became Under the Moon Light)
Live Video: tbd--I need to watch them more to decide
Book: tbd once I acquire all the books
Solo/Side Project: Schaft vs. Schwein tie
Music Video: Sabbat (#2 Just One More Kiss)
